This painting was done by a 11 year old male elephant named pong. He lives at the Lampang,  elephant conversation center which is located in Thailand. This center is run by the Thai government in an effort to save these intelligent gentle giants.
This painting is done on art paper by the elephant holding a brush in its trunk. Not all elephants have this artistic gift and once a elephant shows artistic promise then it is "sent to art school" here at the center. This picture is embossed and stamped with the official government seal from the conversation center so you are guaranteed that you are getting a genuine Thai elephant painting.
The painting measures approximately 22" by 30" and is mounted on 1/4" thick white gator board to insure that it will remain flat. It is ready to be hung as is or may be custom framed. This is the original painting, reprints are also available in a smaller size.
