Roles and Responsibilities

• Work as part of a distributed team to research, build and deploy Machine Learning models for NLP.
• Mentor and coach other team members
• Evaluate the performance of NLP models and ideate on how they can be improved
• Support internal and external NLP-facing APIs
• Keep up to date on current research around NLP, Machine Learning and Deep Learning

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work with product owners and UX Architects to understand the scope of a project, to be able to participate in the UX design process
• Translate UX design concepts and ideas into software using front-end technology
• Develop excellent code by using best practices
• Ensure that the UI is optimised for various devices
• Work with back-end developers to ensure high performance of pages and components on all common devices
• Create self-contained, reusable and testable modules and components
• Write exhaustive unit test cases to ensure UI is consistent with functional requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Any graduation with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI development
• Extensive experience in developing responsive/adaptive layouts for multiple browsers and platforms, including desktop, tablet and mobile
• In depth knowledge of user interface development tech stack and frameworks, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, ReactJS, VueJS, Typescript, AJAX, Ember JS, jQuery etc.
• Good working exposure with REST API and strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the browser DOM, underlying platform, local storage, API, caching layer and proxies
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Adobe Photoshop
• Good problem-solving skills and understanding of key design principles
• Understanding of localisation/internationalisation and experience in developing multilingual UI

Preferred Requirements

• Track record of strong collaboration with multiple stakeholders
• Understanding of user-centered design principles
• Strong familiarity with design tools, graphic formats and user interface technologies
