Job duties

• Plan, organize, and evaluate the operations of Market Treasury Book-of-Work and all technical & infrastructure initiatives
  • Functioning as main contributor in Market Treasury Book-Of-Work of all Business requirements, Regulatory commitments and Tech mandate items.
  • Overseeing all the technical & infrastructure initiatives related to upgrades, End-Of-Vendor-Support (EOVS), and others …
  • Playing active role in key bank initiatives including:
    • Regulatory requirements initiatives for Global Market Treasury Technology
    • Database and Weblogic upgrades for North America & EMEA region
    • Application and Data Base Services migration to Cloud platform
• Assemble and manage teams of software developers and analysts to design, develop, implement and enhance Intellect proprietary Treasury product for the client
  • Managing Intellect onsite resources located in Canada
  • Direct the team’s day to day and evaluation, supervise their deliverables, and guide them in their professional growth
  • Approve the team’s leave requests and planning project activities
  • Make recommendations to Corporate office regarding the team’s promotions, salary increments, etc.
  • Contributing to Intellect project team’s onsite & offshore resources allocations
• Help recruit and supervise software developers and analysts and oversee their professional development and training
  • Make recommendations and help select resources from Intellect project team offshore for movements to Canada to support the project onsite
  • Train and transfer knowledge to new team members who join the project onsite
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for product development and operation activities such as release management
  • Ensuring Application Stability by guiding User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team in all releases and extending guidance when production issues arise
  • Reviewing the Service Now changes for all UAT, Production & COB changes
  • Acting as a Change Coordinator and approving Quality assessment tasks and changes.
• Meet with clients to discuss system requirements especially in the area of Capital Markets and Treasury Money Market in particular, specifications, costs and timelines
  • Scheduling weekly sprint meetings between Intellect delivery team and bank stakeholder to discuss functional & technical deliverables, testing, production promotion of releases.
  • Involvement in Change control Board meetings for major enhancements and guide development team in all possible ways. Also reviewing the code and suggest if any changes.
• Serving as technical and functional SME (Subject Matter Expert) from Intellect for all Money Market products
• Single point of contact for all Interface Issues related to Messaging Queue and Secure File Transfer Protocol connectivity.
• Ensuring application stability by helping UAT team in all releases and extending guidance when production issues arise.
• Coordinate with Business users to complete UAT testing for all technical upgrades and getting the sign-off.
• Conducting performance and failover testing for each major releases and report if any issues to development team for fixing them.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in science, computer science or computer application related filed; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a technical and analytical role in banking and financial technology
• Deep understanding of Experience in Intellect proprietary solutions in Treasury, Money Market, etc. and can function as a Subject Matter Experts (SME)
• Thorough Knowledge of Treasury solutions and applications for various regions
• Complete knowledge of required product configuration on any platform
• Strong knowledge in Linux platform, application servers like Weblogic, Oracle HTTPS Web Server and Deployment tool uDeploy
• Understanding of end to end product including trade capture, risk analysis, risk viewer & reporting.
• Advance knowledge of all major software parameters
• Strong Knowledge in application servers like WebSphere is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 2.5 years of relevant experience in Salesforce is mandatory.
• Development, Admin (Profile, Permission set, Workflow Rule, Process Builder) experience in a must.
• Strong hands-on experience on APEX.
• Good to have basic work experience or knowledge on Lightning Web Components (LWC) / Visualforce / Integration.
