Janet Thomas

Chief Executive Officer – Risk, Treasury & Markets

Janet Thomas has over 20 years of experience spanning across the international banking industry. She has strong domain experience in capital market products such as OTC derivatives etc. She started off her career working at ABN Amro in 1998, where she held a number of management positions across Equities and Fixed Income and Currencies in Capital Markets. From 2006 to 2011, she worked in Citigroup, as Head of Product and Marketing of the Global FX Prime business, where she created innovative and award-winning market-leading products, which contributed to growing Citi FX Prime from virtually a start-up to the largest business of its kind globally. In 2011, Janet joined Bank of America as Head of EMEA FX Prime Sales in Prime Brokerage, where she expanded the business and optimised cross-selling across the business. In 2014, as a Managing Director of Infinity Capital Partners, she was responsible for creating its global regulation financial technology to promote cost transparency for the investment management industry.

She is a member of the Panel of Experts of the Hague-based Panel of Recognised International Market Experts in Finance. Janet holds a BA (Hons.) in Humanities and an MBA degree from Cass Business School in London, United Kingdom.
