John Owen serves as President for the Western Hemisphere (Americas, Europe, and the UK) at Intellect. He drives strategic sales initiatives, business growth, and client relationships across the region, accelerating the adoption of eMACH.ai (the world’s most comprehensive, composable, and intelligent open finance platform) and launching Purple Fabric (the world’s first open business impact AI platform).

A seasoned C-level executive with over 38 years in technology, he enjoys identifying and exploiting market discontinuities where incumbent suppliers, attitudes and business models do not adapt fast enough. John scaled global businesses at blue-chip firms like Nortel Networks, where he launched a global accounts program that generated $8 billion in revenues as the global telecoms market emerged through deregulation. He has operated US start-ups that went public and later served as Group CEO for Mastek and Route Mobile, driving double-digit growth through simplified models, organic expansion, and targeted accretive acquisitions. John sees AI market disruption as a similar market discontinuity and facilitates Intellect leverage its unique agentic AI capabilities in Purple Fabric to reach a wider market, which requires new business models, sales motions and partner networks.
