Syed Quader is the EVP & Country Head, Canada at Intellect Design Arena Limited. A business leader with over two decades of experience in financial services spanning digital banking, payments, lending, and AI, Syed brings a proven track record of scaling a regional business from the ground up into one of Intellect’s most established country operations. He has grown the Canada business to over 125 clients across 8 of Canada’s 10 provinces.

Syed has led Intellect’s Canada business since 2013, supported by a 250-person team based in Toronto and Vancouver. In this role, he has driven the expansion of Intellect’s footprint across major domestic banks including RBC, BMO, and CIBC, over 100 credit unions ranging from Vancity to Bulkley Valley – Intellect’s platforms in Canada operate at scale, orchestrating $10 billion in payments daily, support digital banking for 3 million Canadians, and managing $10 billion in corporate liquidity.

Earlier in his career, Syed was Managing Director for US Banking & Canada at Entrust, overseeing sales and service for financial services, public sector and large enterprise. His background also includes positions at IdenTrust and Oracle, where he worked with large tier 1 banks in North America.

Syed holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Toronto’s University of St. Michael’s College. He is also a certified Oracle developer.
