Abhay Anant Gupte

Abhay Anant Gupte is a distinguished business leader with over four decades of global experience driving growth and transformation across technology, financial services, manufacturing, and diversified industries.

Currently, Abhay serves as the Managing Director & CEO of Manipal Technologies Limited, the flagship holding company of The Manipal Group. Under his leadership, the Group oversees a robust portfolio of companies spanning manufacturing, secure printing, newspaper, logistics, digital media, packaging, and services, with a global footprint extending across India, Africa, UK, and USA.

Prior to his current role, Abhay established a strong track record of steering major multinational technology companies in India, having served as the Managing Director & CEO of Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and as CEO of Logica. His leadership background also includes senior executive roles at premier global institutions, including American Express Bank and GE Capital.

Abhay serves as an Independent Director for Intellect Design Arena Limited , Ester Industries Limited, Intellect Design Arena Limited, UK, and Ester FilmTech Limited.

He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, dedicating his time outside the boardroom to mentoring senior executive leaders across the global business landscape.
