Chief Customer Officer

Vivek Gupta takes on a new strategic role as Chief Customer Officer at Intellect. In this OneIntellect role, Vivek will be the Intellect Executive accountable for Intellect’s strategic global relationships, end-to-end across Intellect Sales, Product, and Delivery Teams, thereby strengthening customer partnerships, delivering transformational multi-geography, multi-product client business outcomes, and, in the process, scaling Intellect’s growth, innovation, and thought leadership agenda.
 
In his previous role as President & Global Head of Consulting at Intellect, Vivek led business and technology consulting initiatives and played a key role in delivering strategic and operational value to clients globally. Backed by Intellect’s pioneering eMACH.ai framework and Purple Fabric AI propositions, he helped customers simplify business operations, drive above-market growth and innovate at scale.
 
Prior to joining Intellect, Vivek served as President & Head of Wholesale Banking Products at Axis Bank, one of India’s leading private sector universal banks. As a member of the bank’s Management Committee, he was responsible for defining the strategic roadmap, driving large-scale technology transformation, and delivering above-market growth across a multi-USD-billion P&L for the Wholesale Banking Product Business. His portfolio included Payments & Cash Management, Trade & Supply Chain, Current Account Liabilities, Custody & Capital Markets, and Digital Transformation. He also led the transformation of Axis Bank’s largest offshore banking presence at GIFT City across corporate and retail business lines.
 
Earlier in his career, Vivek held several senior leadership roles at ANZ in Hong Kong, including Global Head – Trade & Supply Chain Products, Co-Head – Cash Management Products and Head – Trade & Supply Chain, APAC. His career also spans leading global institutions, including HSBC and Standard Chartered, across Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Eastern Europe and India.
 
Vivek also was a Board Member at the Bankers Association for Finance & Trade (BAFT, Washington D.C.) where he helped drive Regulatory, Infrastructure and Policy Advocacy work, with key Banking Regulators.
