It was a confluence of product and technologies of the future at the Premiere edition of the Intellect User Meet 2019, held in Dubai on March 18th and 19th. Around 98 clients, prospects and consultants attended the two-day event, which witnessed a plethora of interesting and inspiring talks and discussions, centered around the theme ‘Banking on Reimagination’.
Bank 4.0 seemed to be the buzzword at the event, with the keynote speaker Brett King, Futurist & Speaker, Founder and CEO of Moven, taking centre stage to share his thoughts on this topic. Stating that we are moving towards ubiquitous banking in the future, Brett emphasised on banks having the ability to provide service anywhere, anytime.
Taking off on that topic, Arun Jain, Chairman and MD, too suggested the application of Design Thinking to fill in the gaps which might occur while working towards Bank 4.0. He said the solution to decomplexify the implementation of Bank 4.0 is to apply the rules of Design Thinking and went on to explain the process.
The two-day event was filled with thought-provoking sessions on Contextual Banking, Open Banking, Monetising Experience, The role of API-First architecture, Wealth Qube and IDC. Topics like Big Data and Implementing Digital Banks were discussed and deliberated.
Apart from these, there were track sessions, wherein the participants took part in one-on-ones with our product experts and deep-dived into specific products and the road ahead. The two-day event was a resonating success, where new ideas and trends emerged.
